The owner’s of this old heritage house needed to modernise the house and make it a home for their young and growing family.
The build team worked with the client to accentuate the existing bones of the house while meeting heritage requirements. The house was stripped back to a complete shell leaving only two rooms with the original heritage charm. The rest of the house was completely renovated to a modern standard while staying true to the original heritage style.
The Durville Heritage project was a finalist for the 2015 HIA ACT Heritage Project of the Year and was the winner of the 2016 HIA ACT Renovated Kitchen over $30,001.
